Hello, welcome to my first blog post. Sexy Saturday! hmmmm... love the picture I found? You might have already begun making up a story, well just read on if you can, with a willingness and openness to discovery. As a member of the Hendricks tribe, I am committed to willingness, except when I drop into my old pattern of defensive posture, then, when I notice my DRIFT ... I make A SHIFT ... Since I have never participated in blogging, I am a non blogger learning to blog and writing here from discovery, what comes up comes up, and stays up. Just thought about how I edit myself, with the shoulds or the maybes of my inner critics and judges. So hello critic Heraldo and judgernator H, welcome to my playground.
Heres the scoop on Sexy Saturday. As I was brushing my teeth this morning wondering how I was going to start this blog, I looked into the mirror and had the idea to make a theme each day, maybe that will be how it turns out, maybe not. Well today being Saturday and looking in the mirror, the words SEXY Saturday came to mind. So I have gone with my impulse. I wanted to find an image so I googled the words Sexy Saturday, WOW WAS I SURPRISED! I had no idea it would bring up what it did, yes I can be naive!!! Willingness to discover led me past what I storied and judged to be offensive, sexist, vulgar, or yes, fill in the blank________ . I found something, considering the topic, that I thought was fun. Check out those chicken legs, what a cool food feast. Wonder what the chef created for the male image?
Wow, now Harry Evaluator said, oops want to go for Savouring Saturday instead? NO and here is my question: In one out-breath, what does sex, sexy, sexual, mean to me and of course ... this being a blog, what does it mean to you, to our culture, to the way societies are showing themselves as of Nov 1O, 2012?
I also thought, what a way to start the blog and my critic story began. What will people think? blah, blah, blah,blah, blah, blah,blah, blah, blah, It didn't last too long. Heraldo doesn't really know what people think, he just likes to show up for safety sake and control.
So back to this WOW, BIG SEXY question:
In one out-breath, what does sex, sexy, sexual, sexuality, mean to me?
Harry: Energy flowing in a way that makes me feel enlivened and in tune to the creative forces that exist within me, it is that divine inspired drive to create.
